The Long/Short Credit funds have the ability to go both long and short in investment- and sub-investment grade credit. The funds invest in cash bonds, loans, CDS, indices, futures and options. These funds offer attractive features to all investors with a significant exposure to fixed income for the following reasons:

  • Downside Protection: The long-short credit product allows significant downside protection. The Avoca Credit Alpha Fund has delivered positive absolute returns every year since 2002 (including though the most recent cycle)
  • Strong Returns: Since inception, the Avoca Credit Alpha Fund has delivered total returns of c.10% per annum
  • Diversification: Since inception, the Avoca Credit Alpha Fund has a exhibited a negative correlation with equities and low correlation with a long-only fixed income strategy
